Cold - cold limbs
Agile - a depending on how balanced this dosha is, it creates good and bad blood circulation; hypertension is associated with excessive vata, as well as cardiac arrhythmias, muscle cramps, and back pain. A nervous, restless look is a sign of vata imbalance.
Fast - leads to many related features; quick capture of new information while quick forgetting; poor long-term memory, good imagination, but scary dreams; restless activity, impulsive action; moodiness; scattered thoughts; quick speech.
Dry - dry skin, dry or dull hair, dull eyes and minimal or moderate sweating. The skin may be cracked and brittle, prone to psoriasis and eczema.
Coarse - coarse skin, burst hair.
EATING SUGGESTIONS: recommended consumption of hot foods, use of added butter, oil, which alleviate the cold feeling caused by vatha. The Vatha type benefits from hot, moist foods, cooked cereals (rice, wheat...), porridge, vegetable soup, which alleviate the dryness caused by vatha in the body. All soothing foods help restore vatha. Vatha like dosa, is cold in nature, so iced drinks and raw vegetables are not recommended in case of vatha imbalance. The breakfast meal is necessary for the vatha type, it should be warm or possibly sweet. Avoid drinks with caffeine, bitter taste increases the vatha effect. All sweet fruits are good, unripe fruits with astringent flavors increase watha effect.
Ingredients: Hawthorn fruit (crataegus laevigata), Hop flower (humulus lupulus), Chamomile (matricaria chamomilla), Lemon balm (melissa officinalis), Rosehips (cynosbati pseudofructus), Midland hawthron (crataegus oxyacantha), Ginger root (zingiber officinalis), Medicinal catnip (valeriana officinalis), Fennel seed (foeniculum vulgare), Anise seeds (pimpinella anisum), Liquorice (glycyrrhiza glabra).
APPLICATION: Boil 2 teaspoons of tea mixture with 2 dl of water! Let stand for 10-15 inutes and strain. After that it can be consumed!
